About Dabang Delhi K.C.
Dabang Delhi K.C. represent Delhi in the Pro Kabaddi League, and the club’s finals record tells a story in three acts. In Season 7, Delhi reached the final and lost 34–39 to Bengal Warriorz. In Season 8, Delhi returned and beat Patna Pirates 37–36, winning a first title by a single point. In Season 12, Delhi won again, beating Puneri Paltan 31–28. Three finals, two titles, and every final decided by five points or fewer. That history frames what the dabang delhi schedule for Season 13 must live up to.
The Season 8 win deserves its place in this story. A 37–36 final is as close as this league gets, and Delhi held on against a Patna Pirates side chasing a fourth title. That night gave the club its first trophy and its belief. The Season 12 title was different in character. Delhi finished 2nd in the league, survived a drawn qualifier that went to a shootout, and then closed the final at home. The first title proved Delhi could win. The second proved Delhi could win under different kinds of pressure.
Two titles also place Delhi in a small group. Only Patna Pirates, with three titles, stand ahead of Dabang Delhi K.C. in the all-time count, and Delhi share second place with Jaipur Pink Panthers. The defending champions tag in Season 13 is earned, not honorary. This club has now won finals in two separate eras of the league, with the Season 12 run finished in its own city, at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium.
Dabang Delhi K.C. Honours
Dabang Delhi K.C. have played three PKL finals and won two of them. The table below records all three. Every champion since Season 1 is listed on the PKL Winners List.
| Season | Result | Final score | Opponent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Season 7 | Runners-up | 34–39 | Bengal Warriorz |
| Season 8 | Champions | 37–36 | Patna Pirates |
| Season 12 | Champions | 31–28 | Puneri Paltan |
Add the individual honour and the picture sharpens. Fazel Atrachali of Dabang Delhi K.C. was named Most Valuable Player for Season 12, the league’s top individual award. The reported winning captain was Ashu Malik. A league MVP, a home final, and a three-point win: the Season 12 honours list for Delhi is complete at team and player level. Those honours set the bar the dabang delhi schedule for Season 13 will be measured against.
Dabang Delhi K.C. Season 12 Review
Dabang Delhi K.C. finished the Season 12 league stage in 2nd place, with 13 wins and 5 losses from 18 matches. Delhi collected 26 points, level with table-toppers Puneri Paltan, and a score difference of +38. The league numbers alone do not explain the title. Delhi’s season turned in the playoffs, in the tightest match of the year. The dabang delhi schedule for Season 13 will be measured against that benchmark.
Qualifier 1 finished 34–34 between Dabang Delhi K.C. and Puneri Paltan. The match went to a five-raid shootout, and Delhi won it 6–4. Days later, the same two clubs met again in the final, on 31 October 2025 at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi. This time there was no shootout. Delhi won 31–28 in regulation time and lifted the trophy at home. Two meetings with Pune in one postseason, two different kinds of pressure, and Delhi handled both.
The review writes itself from there. Delhi were not the league’s highest scorers, and they did not top the table. They won the matches that ended seasons. Fazel Atrachali took the MVP award, and the reported captain Ashu Malik lifted the trophy. For Season 13, the standard inside this club is now set by its own last performance: a title won through a shootout and a final, back to back.
