Gujarat Giants Schedule 2026-27: Season 13 Fixtures, Squad & Results

The gujarat giants schedule for 2026-27 carries one of the league’s oldest unfinished stories. Gujarat Giants have played two PKL finals and lost both. No title, two runner-up medals, and a fan base still waiting for the night that ends differently. The Season 13 fixture list has not been announced. This page tracks the reported timeline and records the finals history that makes this club’s chase worth following.

Season 12 added a harder chapter. Gujarat Giants finished 11th, near the bottom of the table, far from the finals form of earlier years. Season 13 is therefore a chase on two fronts: climb the table first, then settle the oldest account in the club’s record. Follow the wider season picture on the PKL Schedule homepage, and use this page for Gujarat’s honours, fixtures, and viewing details.

About Gujarat Giants

Gujarat Giants represent Ahmedabad in the Pro Kabaddi League. The club’s history, on the verified record, is a two-season peak followed by a long wait. In Season 5, Gujarat Giants reached the final and lost 38–55 to Patna Pirates. One season later, the club reached the final again and lost 33–38 to Bengaluru Bulls. Back-to-back finals is a run most clubs never manage. Gujarat managed it, and still came home without the trophy both times.

The two losses were different in shape. The Season 5 final was a heavy defeat, a 17-point margin against a Patna Pirates side completing a three-title run. The Season 6 final was a five-point game, close enough to turn on a handful of raids. That second loss is the one that follows this club. Gujarat Giants were one strong spell away from a title, and the wait since then has only sharpened the story. The gujarat giants schedule for Season 13 will be measured against that near-miss.

No Gujarat Giants final appearance has followed Season 6 on this record. The club’s identity is now defined by the chase itself. Four franchises in the current league have never played a final at all. Gujarat have played two. The gap between this club and a title is not experience of the big night. It is one result on that night, and Season 13 is the next chance to change it. The gujarat giants schedule for Season 13 is the next chapter in that chase.

Gujarat Giants Honours

The Gujarat Giants honours table holds two runner-up finishes and an empty title column. Both finals are recorded below. For the clubs that won those seasons and every other, see the PKL Winners List.

Season	Result	Final score	Opponent
Season 5	Runners-up	38–55	Patna Pirates
Season 6	Runners-up	33–38	Bengaluru Bulls

Two finals in two seasons also means Gujarat Giants hold a record nobody wants and everybody respects. The club proved, twice in a row, that it could build a squad capable of reaching the last match of the season. What remains unproven is the final step. Every preview of a Gujarat season, including this one, ends at the same question. The gujarat giants schedule for Season 13 is where that question gets its next answer.

Gujarat Giants Season 12 Review

Season 12 kept Gujarat Giants far from the finals conversation. The club finished 11th of 12 teams, with 6 wins and 12 losses from 18 league matches. Gujarat collected 12 points under the official Season 12 system of 2 points for a win and 0 for a loss, and the score difference of −73 was the third-lowest in the league. Only the bottom club finished with a worse mark.

The top eight teams qualified for the playoffs, and Gujarat Giants ended the league stage three places below that line. A 6–12 record tells the story without decoration. The club lost twice as many matches as it won, across four cities and 63 days, and the negative difference shows that several defeats were heavy rather than narrow. This was not a season that turned on luck or late calls.

Place the season against the club’s own history and the contrast is sharp. The franchise that reached consecutive finals in Seasons 5 and 6 finished one place off the bottom in Season 12. That contrast is also the reason the Season 13 reset matters here more than at most clubs. Gujarat do not need a new identity. The club needs to recover an old one, and the table gives it a full season to do it. That history frames what the gujarat giants schedule for Season 13 must live up to.

Gujarat Giants Season 13 Outlook

Season 13 details for Gujarat Giants are To Be Announced. The squad, captain, and coach have not been confirmed. The auction is reported for 18–25 October 2026, the season start is reported for late December 2026, and the final is reported for February 2027. Those dates carry a Reported label here until the league confirms them.

After an 11th-place finish, change at the auction is the reasonable expectation for this club. Expectation is not confirmation, and this page will not name players before Gujarat Giants or the league do. Retained players, new signings, and the captain will be added here as Confirmed once announced. The first target for any new-look Gujarat squad is modest and clear: return to the top eight, then let the old finals story back into the conversation. Check the club against the rest of the league on the Pro Kabaddi Teams hub.

Season 12 shows the road Gujarat travelled last year. The campaign began in Vizag, Matches 1–28 from 29 August to 11 September 2025. Jaipur hosted the next stretch, Matches 29–52 from 12 to 27 September. Chennai staged Matches 53–76 from 29 September to 10 October, and Delhi hosted Matches 77–108 plus the playoffs from 11 to 31 October. Gujarat Giants played 18 league matches across those legs. Season 13 legs are unconfirmed, and the gujarat giants schedule page will track the route once the league confirms them.

Gujarat Giants Home City & Venue

Gujarat Giants are based in Ahmedabad, the club’s home since its run of back-to-back finals. The Season 13 venue list is To Be Announced, so no home venue can be confirmed for the new season. The confirmed venue will be named on the gujarat giants schedule page when the league publishes it.

Season 12 used a caravan format instead of home fixtures. All twelve clubs travelled together through Vizag, Jaipur, Chennai, and Delhi, playing in every host city. Ahmedabad did not host a leg. Gujarat fans therefore followed a full season of away matches, and whether Season 13 brings the league back to Gujarat depends on a format call the league has not made yet.

How to Watch Gujarat Giants Matches

Season 13 broadcast and streaming partners are To Be Announced. In Season 12, Gujarat Giants matches were covered on Star Sports Network on television in India and streamed on JioHotstar, as part of the league-wide deal. That is the reference for last season. Check the gujarat giants schedule page for confirmed broadcast timings once the league announces them.

Season 13 match timings are also To Be Announced. Season 12 matchdays usually began at 8:00 PM IST, with double headers extending the evening. For the official league record, see the official Pro Kabaddi League site.
